Release Notes

Every NeonSportz release, newest first.

08/02/26

Version 1.18.0

New Features

  • Open Calendar from the league or dynasty navigation, or the Upcoming Dates panel on the competition home page, to see imported games and commissioner dates with recurrence, local-time display, web/push recipients, per-event colors, and Discord reminders for selected channels, users, roles, or @everyone.
  • Configure import webhooks in Administration → Settings → Import Webhook, with automatic stage triggers and a manual send button for custom dashboards and bots.
  • Open any player's History tab to save league-wide roster snapshots and compare current players, development, OVR, trade value, and team roster value with a saved checkpoint.
  • Open Docs from the site navigation to search Madden, CFB, commissioner, Discord-command, FAQ, troubleshooting, and release-note guides.
  • Use the Qualified Players Only and minimum games/attempts filters on stats pages to keep small-sample rate leaders out of the results.
  • Use the stage filters in the /pstats Discord commands to view preseason, regular-season, or postseason results.
  • Review league history and hopper-risk context in Administration → Join Requests and Administration → Members before approving requests.
  • Submit player position-change requests from Position Changes or Discord with /position-change, then follow approval updates in NeonSportz and Discord.
  • Open any user profile to see their NeonSportz join date and recorded league history.
  • Open Docs → API Reference to browse the read-only public API, with live request examples, so you can build your own tools on league, team, player, game, and stat data.

Improvements

  • Clarify mobile, account deletion, and service-owner guidance in the documentation.
  • Limit how many requests a single IP address can make to the API so that heavy automated traffic cannot slow the site down for everyone else.
  • Explain on Administration → Automation how the import webhook works, and recommend pairing it with the API so your dashboard or bot pulls fresh data the moment an import finishes.
  • Move documentation to the website only. The mobile app no longer carries the guides, release notes, or API reference, which keeps the app smaller; read them at neonsportz.com/docs.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix Discord startup and retry behavior for position-change commands.
  • Fix calendar reminder recipients so selected members receive notifications correctly.
  • Improve reliability for position-change approvals, import webhooks, roster snapshots, and queued imports while fixing league settings.
  • Fix season Passer Rating being averaged from each game's individually-capped rating instead of calculated from the full season's totals.
