Player Search, Profiles & Comparison

Search all players

Open Players → Search. The page can filter imported players by:

• Name.
• Team and position.
• Overall and other ratings.
• Development information when visible.
• Contract or free-agent context.
• Imported traits and other supported attributes.
• Ordering and result count.

Apply one filter at a time when troubleshooting an empty result. A hidden-development league may intentionally withhold development information from normal members.

Open a player

Select a player’s name from search, roster, stats, trade block, game log, awards, or transaction context. The player header can show:

• Identity, position, jersey, team, age, height, weight, experience, and college.
• Overall and archetype information.
• Injury and development status.
• Trade-block and trade-eligibility status.
• Configured player value and recommended value.
• Contract and desired contract information when present.
• Last updated time.

Attributes

The Attributes tab displays Madden ratings grouped for reading. Key attributes can depend on position. Ratings are snapshots from the latest roster import.

Traits and abilities

• Traits shows imported behavioral/player trait fields.
• Abilities shows imported Superstar/X-Factor abilities and slots.

If an ability change does not appear, import the roster. The first import establishes baseline; a later changed import can generate a Discord ability-change notification.

Game Log

The Game Log shows player statistics for stored games. Use season/stage filters where available.

A missing line can mean:

• The game is not marked played.
• That week’s player stats were not imported.
• The player did not record a stat row in that category.
• The page is filtered to another season or stage.

Career Stats

Career Stats aggregates stored seasons. It begins with seasons imported into NeonSportz and cannot invent earlier career data that was never received.

Rate statistics should be interpreted with attempts/games in mind. Season rates are calculated from accumulated totals rather than averaging weekly rates.

Awards and History

• Awards lists supported weekly, yearly, MVP, and custom awards associated with the player.
• History lists imported player changes captured by NeonSportz.

History begins after baseline data exists. It is not a complete Madden transaction log for time before the league used NeonSportz.

Compare players

1. Open Players → Compare.
2. Select the first player.
3. Select one or more additional players using the available selector.
4. Compare ratings and player information side by side.
5. Replace a selection to compare another player.

Compare players in similar roles and review age, contract, development, traits, and abilities—not only overall.

Player cannot be traded

The profile can show Can’t Trade or Trade Eligible. Eligibility can come from imported or NeonSportz-controlled rules. A commissioner should verify league rules and current roster data before overriding a workflow.

Refresh the correct data

• Attributes, traits, abilities, injury, contract, team: roster import.
• Game log and career stats: statistics import.
• Awards: stats plus award generation/manual award action.
• Draft: post-draft roster/draft import.
• Trade value: Trade Settings and latest player data.
