Join, Leave & Invitations

Find services, submit or cancel requests, join, leave, and understand approval.

Ways to find a service

You can reach a Madden league or CFB dynasty through:

  • The public Madden Leagues or CFB Dynasties recruitment directory.
  • A direct league or dynasty URL.
  • A service invite URL shared by a commissioner.
  • /join for Madden or /cfbjoin for CFB in the connected Discord server.

Submit a join request on the website

  1. Sign in with Discord.
  2. Open the league or dynasty.
  3. Review its rules, recruitment description, console, skill level, advance schedule, and open teams.
  4. Select Join.
  5. Confirm the request.
  6. Wait for a commissioner to approve it.

Submitting a request does not assign a team and does not guarantee acceptance.

Submit through Discord

  1. Open the Discord server connected to the service.
  2. Type /join for Madden or /cfbjoin for CFB.
  3. If Discord offers an abbreviation option, choose the correct service.
  4. Send the command.
  5. Read the bot confirmation.

If the bot cannot identify the service, supply the abbreviation or use the website.

What commissioners do

Commissioners open Administration → Join Requests. They can:

  • Review the request date and user.
  • Review available Madden league history and hopper-risk context.
  • Approve or deny one request.
  • Select multiple requests and approve or deny them together.

After approval, the commissioner opens Administration → Members, assigns an available team, and grants only the needed permissions.

Check request status

Open your profile. A service can appear as joined or pending. While pending, you can cancel the request. If it disappears after review, it may have been denied; contact the commissioner rather than submitting repeatedly.

Leave a league or dynasty

  1. Open your profile.
  2. Find the league or dynasty.
  3. Select Leave.
  4. Read the confirmation carefully.
  5. Confirm only if you intend to leave.

Leaving removes your active membership and team association. NeonSportz may retain a league-history event. Leaving Discord alone does not reliably perform the same NeonSportz action.

Cancel a pending request

Open your profile, find the pending service, and choose Cancel Request or Cancel. Cancelling only removes the request; it does not affect Discord membership.

Commissioner removal

Commissioners can use Administration → Members → Kick. Removal records the event in supported league-history views. Before removing a service owner, contact support so the paid service is not stranded.

Common problems

  • Join button is missing: sign in, confirm the service is active, and check whether you already joined or requested access.
  • No open team: you may still request access, but the commissioner must decide whether to wait-list or reassign a team.
  • Approved but no pages appear: ask the commissioner to assign a team and confirm membership under NeonSportz.
  • Wrong team: only an authorized commissioner can change assignments.
  • Command says no league found: run it in the connected server and provide the abbreviation.
