Resets, Repairs, Renewal & Transfer

Use the least destructive action

Reset and repair actions require Edit League/Admin permission. Open Administration → Settings for the maintenance menu.

Before any reset:

Stop active imports.
Confirm the league abbreviation.
Export CSV data if you need an archive.
Identify exactly which data domain is wrong.
Try the matching re-import.
Read the full confirmation.

Delete Retired Players

Removes players identified by the supported retired-player cleanup. Use after a season transition when retired records should no longer remain in active player data.

Verify player/history needs before deleting.

Fix Duplicates

Runs the supported duplicate repair. Use only when you confirmed actual duplicates, not repeated names or legitimate multi-season records.

Reset Injuries

Clears stored injury information. Follow with current roster imports to rebuild accurate injuries.

Reset League News

Deletes all league news posts created by members. This is permanent and unrelated to imported Madden data.

Reset Stats Only

Deletes current-season games, player statistics, and team statistics according to the confirmation. Use when current-season exports are irreparably inconsistent.

Afterward:

Import schedule.
Import the required weekly/all statistics.
Verify games, standings context, and player/team totals.

Reset League Info, Rosters, and Stats

Deletes all seasons of games, teams, players, statistics, and trade requests, including dependent player history and award records. Member accounts and league settings remain, but deleting teams clears member team assignments. The league season/stage/week and franchise import identity are reset. This is intended for rebuilding or moving to another franchise.

Afterward, repeat the complete initial import order.

Reset Export Information

There is currently no Reset Export Information button in Import Center. The legacy maintenance operation clears export-status tracking only; it does not clear player-history baselines or delete statistics. Use Import Center’s supported targeted repairs for missing data.

Transfer Discord server

NeonSportz does not delete leagues, and paid-service ownership cannot be changed. A league remains available in case its owner returns later. If the goal is to move it out of its current Discord server, use Transfer Discord Server:

Install the bot in the destination server.
Sign in with an account that administers it.
Start the League Transfer control.
Select the exact destination.
Confirm. The confirmation names both servers — the one the league is on now and the one it is moving to. Read it before continuing; a transfer to the wrong server is not obvious afterwards, because the site keeps working normally and only Discord behaves strangely.
Reconfigure every Discord channel/role. These are cleared automatically on transfer, along with any game threads, because the old IDs name channels in a server the league is no longer in.
Test notifications and commands.

Several leagues can share one Discord server, and the transfer goes through without asking about it. League settings then lists the other leagues and CFB dynasties on the same server under Also connected here, so you can see at a glance what else the bot answers for in there — and notice a server you did not expect to be sharing.

Check which server a league is on

League settings shows the connected server by name. If the name recorded when the league was connected no longer matches what the server is called now, a warning appears there. That is expected after a rename; if the server was never renamed, the wrong server may have been connected, and Transfer Discord Server is how to correct it.

Signs a league is on the wrong server: bot commands answer with another league’s data, /join adds members to a league they did not ask for, or game threads appear in a server that does not run those games.

Renew

Use renewal to extend the existing league while preserving URL, data, members, and settings. On the activation screen, choose Renew Existing League under its Discord server and then select the intended league. Every league you own in that Discord server is listed separately and needs its own unused activation link. See Purchase, Activation, Renewal, and Transfer.

Recovery after a wrong reset

NeonSportz does not provide a user-facing undo. Stop further changes. If recovery assistance is needed, join the NeonSportz Discord, open #create-a-ticket, and click the Open a Ticket button. Include the abbreviation, reset type, and time; recovery is not guaranteed.
