Player & Team Statistics

Leaders, detailed tables, filters, aggregates, game logs, career, and diagnosis.

Statistic Leaders

Open Statistics → Leaders for a visual overview of major categories, including:

  • Team offense: total, passing, and rushing yards.
  • Passing: yards, interceptions, and touchdowns.
  • Rushing: yards, average, and touchdowns.
  • Receiving: yards, average, and touchdowns.
  • Team defense: total, passing, and rushing yards allowed.
  • Player defense: tackles, interceptions, and sacks.
  • Kicking: field goals, 50+ field goals, and longest.
  • Punting: supported net/average/longest categories.

Use detailed pages when you need more columns or filtering.

Detailed player stat pages

Open Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Defense, Kicking, or Punting. Typical controls include:

  • Season, stage, and sometimes week.
  • Team and position.
  • Rookie-only filtering.
  • Qualified players only.
  • Extra metric filters.
  • Sort field and order.
  • Result count.

The exact columns differ by category.

Read aggregate statistics correctly

For a season:

  • Totals are summed from eligible stored rows.
  • Rates such as yards per attempt should be derived from total yards and total attempts.
  • Sorting by a rate without qualification can surface tiny samples.
  • A player traded midseason can have context across teams depending on stored rows and filters.

Team Stats

Open Statistics → Team for league-wide team totals/averages. An individual team’s Statistics tab provides the same domain narrowed to one team.

Team-stat rows can exist for scheduled games, but official aggregates must count games with played status. If games played looks inflated, report the league, season/stage, and page filters.

Player Game Log

Open a player and choose Game Log for game-by-game rows. It is the best place to identify which week is missing from a season total.

Career Stats

Open a player and choose Career Stats. Career totals cover stored seasons only. Madden career values that were never imported are not automatically backfilled.

Fantasy points

Supported stat rows can display fantasy-point values based on Administration → Fantasy Settings. Changing the scoring configuration changes NeonSportz calculations; it does not create a separate fantasy league or change Madden.

Diagnose incorrect totals

  1. Record the page filters.
  2. Open the player’s Game Log or relevant game pages.
  3. Find the missing or duplicate week.
  4. Confirm the game is completed.
  5. Import that week’s statistics.
  6. Reload the aggregate page.
  7. Use All Stats only if multiple weeks remain inconsistent.

Empty results

  • Clear filters.
  • Confirm the selected season/stage contains played games.
  • Confirm the correct stat category was imported.
  • Check whether the player recorded a row in that category.
  • Turn off Qualified Players Only when investigating.
