Set the week, create the slate, prepare Discord, record results, and close out.

Before creating the week

  1. Confirm every approved member has the correct dynasty team.
  2. Confirm all required teams exist.
  3. Confirm conference assignments.
  4. Determine the current calendar year and dynasty week.
  5. Gather the full matchup slate, including byes.

Set season and week

  2. Use the edit control next to Season.
  3. Enter/save the calendar year.
  4. Use the edit control next to Week.
  5. Enter/save the intended week.
  6. Confirm both values before creating games.

These values control the administration context and bot defaults.

  2. Create a single game or use the supported bulk-create flow.
  3. Select away and home teams carefully.
  4. Set schedule information.
  5. Mark the intended Game of the Week if applicable.
  6. Save.
  7. Review the public Games page for duplicates or reversed teams.

Prepare Discord

  1. Confirm member assignments.
  2. Confirm bot permissions.
  3. Choose channels or threads.
  4. Run /cfbchannels create-games or /cfbthreads create-games.
  5. Supply the correct week and naming options.
  6. Inspect every created space.

During the week

  • Correct schedule mistakes before members use the game spaces.
  • Allow winner voting according to dynasty practice.
  • Update Game of the Week.
  • Add late-approved members and assignments before recreating access.

Record a result

  1. Open Administration → Games.
  2. Find the exact matchup.
  3. Open its edit/update control.
  4. Enter away and home scores.
  5. Mark the game completed.
  6. Mark simulated state when applicable.
  7. Save.
  8. Verify the public Games page and dynasty home.

Both score and completed status matter.

Close the week

  1. Confirm every completed score/status.
  2. Review standings and records on dynasty pages.
  3. Review voting.
  4. Delete or close weekly Discord channels/threads according to policy.
  5. Advance the Week value.
  6. Create the next slate.

Recovery checklist

  • Wrong teams: edit the game before deleting if possible.
  • Duplicate game: confirm which record is unused, then delete the duplicate.
  • Standings wrong: find missing/incomplete results.
  • Private space missing a member: correct team assignment, then recreate or adjust the Discord space.
