Purchase, activation, and login

I paid but do not see a service

Sign in with the Discord account used during activation, verify the order email, and refresh Connect Your League/Dynasty. Do not purchase again until support confirms the first order cannot be activated.

I didn’t get my activation email

Check your spam or junk folder first — that’s where almost every missing activation email turns out to be. If it truly isn’t there, go to neonsportz.com/activate, sign in with Discord, and NeonSportz finds any unfulfilled purchase tied to your account email automatically — no email needed. See Didn’t Get Your Activation Email?.

I bought with a different email than my Discord account uses

The automatic lookup on neonsportz.com/activate only matches your Discord account’s email. Use the Bought with a different email? form on that same page: enter the checkout email and NeonSportz emails every unclaimed activation link to it.

My Discord server is not listed

Use a Discord account that owns the server or has Administrator, install the bot, complete authorization, return to NeonSportz, and select Refresh. See Installation and Permissions.

NeonSportz shows the wrong Discord account

Sign out of NeonSportz and Discord, switch to the intended account, and authorize again. Memberships belong to Discord ID and do not move automatically.

The app signed me out after an update

One app update moved where the app stores its data on your device, which the app cannot read across the move, so it signs you out once. Sign in with Discord again and everything is as you left it — this is a one-time event, not something that repeats on later updates.

How do I renew without losing data?

For Madden Leagues, renew the existing league card instead of creating another league. See Purchase, Activation, and Renewal. CFB Dynasties do not support renewal.

Membership and permissions

I joined Discord but cannot access the league

Discord membership and NeonSportz membership are separate. Submit a Join request and wait for approval/team assignment.

I was approved but have no team

Ask a commissioner to open Administration → Members and assign you.

Why is Administration missing?

The commissioner must grant Edit League/Admin or Edit Dynasty/Admin in NeonSportz. Discord Administrator alone is not enough.

Why can I not create or vote on trades?

Create, Vote, Force, and Edit League are separate permission bits. The trade’s visibility, agreement, locked-vote, own-trade, and limit settings also apply.

Madden imports

What order should I import?

League Info first, then teams/standings, schedules, rosters, free agents, and statistics. See Setup and Imports.

Where is the Companion App option?

The Madden Companion App has not been released yet, so it cannot be used. Nothing is wrong with your league. Connect the league through EA Connect and use Import Center instead. The Companion export workflow and its troubleshooting steps are kept in Companion App Imports for when the app returns.

Import button is in cooldown

Wait for the displayed countdown and verify the previous request. Do not switch methods to bypass it.

All Stats is waiting

It is a serialized queue. Refresh Import Center, wait for the active job, and do not submit duplicates.

Rosters/contracts/injuries are stale

Import the affected roster. Statistics imports do not own those fields.

A game/stat line is missing

Confirm schedule, completed status, season/stage/week filters, and the correct weekly stats import.

Team games played is too high

Scheduled games can have placeholder team-stat rows, but aggregates should count completed games only. Report the league, filters, and sample team/game if it persists.

Games, stats, and history

Why is Player or Advanced tab missing?

The game must be completed and the relevant data must have been imported. EA may omit advanced fields.

Why is a user Madden game missing?

The game must be completed, not simulated, and both teams must have assigned members. Historical games are not always reconstructed later.

Why do career totals not match Madden?

Career totals cover seasons imported into NeonSportz. Older unimported history is unavailable.

Why is a rate-stat leader strange?

Enable Qualified Players Only and review attempts/games. Tiny samples can lead unqualified rates.

Why are standings wrong?

Import standings/League Info and verify every missing game result. CFB standings require manually completed game records.

Trades

Trade is stuck pending

Check required team agreements, approval/denial thresholds, voter permissions, and private visibility.

Approved trade did not move players

NeonSportz approves the request only. Complete the trade in Madden, then import both rosters and free agents.

Trade value looks wrong

Review current roster/contract data and every relevant value table, formula weight, ability value, and future-pick multiplier.

Auto-approval behaved unexpectedly

Review maximum per side, value difference, asset count, round range, attribute ceilings, and excluded positions. Every configured safeguard must pass.

Discord

No one can use slash commands

Open Discord Server Settings → Integrations → NeonSportz, allow the intended roles/channels, and grant Use Application Commands.

Bot does not post notifications

Confirm the event occurred, run the later import that detects it, select/test the exact channel, verify bot permissions, and inspect Discord Errors Channel.

Bot was kicked

Use Connect Your League/Dynasty to invite it again, refresh, then retest.

Game channels/threads were not created

Verify schedule, week, assignments, bot/user Manage Channels or Manage Threads, and existing partially created spaces.

Member missing from private matchup

The same Discord account must be approved and assigned to a participating team. Confirm Discord permission hierarchy.

Command cannot find the service

Run it in the connected server and supply the abbreviation option.

CFB

Where is the CFB import?

There is none. Commissioners manually manage conferences, teams, games, and results.

CFB standings are wrong

Inspect each expected game for correct teams, score, season/week, and completed status.

Open teams are wrong

Correct team assignments under Members.

CFB Discord game spaces use wrong matchups

Correct the manually entered games first, then recreate or adjust the spaces.

Content, exports, and customization

News formatting changed

Unsafe/unsupported rich text is sanitized. Use the editor, preview, and simpler formatting.

Image upload fails

Use a supported web format under 2 MB and recommended dimensions, then upload one at a time.

CSV is empty

Verify source pages/imports and select the correct season/data options before exporting.

Mobile table is hard to read

Scroll horizontally, rotate the device, or use desktop for wide admin/stat tables.

Why am I seeing ads in the mobile app?

Ads fund the free tiers. The app shows the same in-page ads the website does, on the same pages — league and dynasty pages, the home page, Leagues, and the Leaderboard — and none on sign-in, your profile, or Account Settings. They sit in the page content and scroll with it rather than being pinned to the bottom of the screen. See Accounts and Mobile Access.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

Open Account Settings → Ad privacy choices and choose Manage to reopen the consent form. The row appears only where consent applies to your region. Declining changes nothing about what the app can do.

Destructive actions

Can a reset be undone?

There is no user-facing undo. Stop making further changes. If assistance is needed, use the Discord ticket steps below; recovery is not guaranteed.

Should I reset to fix stale data?

Usually no. Identify the owning data set and run the smallest import or manual correction first.

What happens if I delete my account?

Accounts that own a paid league or dynasty cannot be deleted. Paid-service ownership cannot be changed. Accounts without paid-service ownership can be deleted from Account Settings.

Can my league be deleted or transferred to another owner?

No. NeonSportz keeps leagues available in case the owner returns later, and paid-service ownership cannot be changed. To move a league to a different Discord server, open league administration and use Transfer Discord Server.
