Fantasy Scoring

Configure every scoring field, calculate per-unit values, and verify recalculation.

What Fantasy Settings does

Fantasy Settings controls fantasy-point calculations shown for supported player statistics. It is not a draftable fantasy-league system and does not alter Madden.

Open Administration → Fantasy Settings.

Scoring fields

Configure values for:

  • Points Per Reception (PPR)
  • Passing Yards
  • Passing Touchdowns
  • Interceptions Thrown
  • Rushing Yards
  • Rushing Touchdowns
  • Receiving Yards
  • Receiving Touchdowns
  • Fumbles
  • Field Goals
  • Field Goals 50+ Yards
  • Extra Points
  • Two Point Conversions
  • Tackles
  • Sacks
  • Defense Touchdowns
  • Forced Fumbles
  • Interceptions
  • Safeties

Use negative values for penalties only when the form accepts and your intended scoring requires them.

Configure scoring

  1. Write down the league’s scoring rules.
  2. Open Fantasy Settings.
  3. Enable/disable PPR.
  4. Enter the point value for every relevant event or unit.
  5. Double-check yardage values: they are normally per yard, not per 10/25 yards unless you convert the value.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Wait approximately five minutes for recalculation.
  8. Open a known player stat line and manually verify the total.

Example: if passing yards should award one point per 25 yards, the per-yard value is 0.04.

Verify a calculation

  1. Choose a player/game with simple stats.
  2. Multiply each stat by its configured value.
  3. Add PPR and event bonuses/penalties.
  4. Compare with NeonSportz.
  5. If different, confirm the row has recalculated and that you used the same stat definitions.

Recalculation

Saving triggers an asynchronous recalculation. Do not repeatedly save while it is running. Older displayed values can remain briefly.

Common mistakes

  • Entering 1 for Passing Yards when intending one point per 25 yards.
  • Forgetting negative values for interceptions thrown or fumbles.
  • Confusing defensive interceptions with interceptions thrown.
  • Expecting PPR to add points when reception rows were not imported.
  • Comparing before recalculation finishes.

Troubleshooting

  • Reload Fantasy Settings and confirm values persisted.
  • Wait at least five minutes.
  • Confirm the player’s underlying stats.
  • Test a simple row.
  • Report the league, player/game, input stats, expected formula, and displayed total if still wrong.
