CFB Getting Started

Create a dynasty and complete manual initial setup in the correct order.

How CFB dynasties work

CFB dynasty data is managed manually in NeonSportz. There is no Companion App or EA import for CFB.

Commissioners maintain:

  • Dynasty identity and public presentation.
  • Calendar year and week.
  • Rules.
  • Conferences and teams.
  • Members, requests, and team assignments.
  • Weekly games, scores, played/simulated state, and Game of the Week.
  • Recruitment and Discord game spaces.

Create the dynasty

  1. Purchase and activate the CFB Dynasty service.
  2. Sign in with the Discord account that administers the destination server.
  3. Install the NeonSportz bot if needed.
  4. Open Connect Your Dynasty.
  5. Choose Connect for the correct server.
  6. Enter a unique name containing letters, numbers, and spaces.
  7. Enter an unused abbreviation of up to five uppercase letters/numbers.
  8. Select the console/platform context.
  9. Complete creation.
  10. Open the dynasty and verify its URL.

Initial setup order

  1. Administration → Settings: verify name, abbreviation, console, calendar context, and invite URL.
  2. Rules: publish dynasty rules.
  3. Administration → Conferences: create conference groups in display order.
  4. Administration → Teams: add teams from the supported default-team catalog.
