Purchase, Activation, Renewal & Transfer

Buy, connect, renew, transfer, and safely manage a paid service.

Before you purchase

Confirm which product you need:

  • Madden League: imports a Madden franchise and provides player, team, game, statistic, transaction, draft, trade, and commissioner tools.
  • CFB Dynasty: provides manually managed College Football teams, conferences, games, members, recruitment, and Discord tools.
  • Recruitment Boost: temporarily boosts an existing recruitment post. It does not create a league or dynasty.

You also need access to the email used at checkout and a Discord account that can administer the destination server.

Purchase a new service

The simplest route is to buy from inside NeonSportz. Sign in with Discord, open neonsportz.com/activate, and use Buy a Madden League or Buy a CFB Dynasty. Buying this way attaches your account to the checkout, so the purchase is found afterwards even if you pay with a different email address than the one on your account.

To buy from the shop directly instead:

  1. Open the NeonSportz Shop.
  2. Choose the correct current Madden or CFB product.
  3. Read the product details and complete checkout.
  4. Use an email address you can open immediately.
  5. After checkout, open the order or activation email. Check spam or junk if it does not arrive within a few minutes — that is where it lands most often. If you paid with an address that is not the one on your NeonSportz account, a second copy is also sent to your account email.
  6. If nothing arrives at all, do not buy again. Sign in at neonsportz.com/activate — every paid order is recoverable there, and NeonSportz re-checks the shop hourly for orders that never came through.
  7. Select the activation link. If it opens a sign-in page, finish Discord login and NeonSportz returns to activation automatically.

If the email you check out with matches the email on your NeonSportz account, you do not need to wait for it at all: NeonSportz matches the purchase automatically and shows a notification and a banner on the site pointing you straight to the Discord-server-selection step. If your checkout email is different from your account email, sign in at neonsportz.com/activate instead — it finds the purchase by your account email automatically, or by a different email through the lookup form on that page. Watch the purchase tutorial. The shop or Discord screens may have changed visually, but the service-selection and activation flow is the same.

Activate and choose a Discord server

  1. Sign in with the Discord account that owns or administers the target server. The Discord account must have a verified email.
  2. Open Connect Your League or Connect Your Dynasty.
  3. Find the purchased service card.
  4. If the server is ready, choose Connect New League. A Discord server may host more than one NeonSportz league.
  5. If NeonSportz is not installed, choose Add NeonSportz Bot. After installation, NeonSportz checks again.
  6. Select the intended server carefully. The server connects the website service and bot.
  7. Continue to the creation form and enter the service details.

If the purchase was already activated by this account, NeonSportz says This purchase is already activated. Nothing is wrong. Select Open My League instead of trying to activate it again.

The raw purchase token is removed from the browser address after validation. A short-lived resume value is kept only in the current tab so a fresh Discord sign-in can return to activation without reopening the email.

Server does not appear

Check each item in order:

  1. You are signed into the intended Discord account in the browser.
  2. That account owns the server or has Discord Administrator permission.
  3. The NeonSportz bot is still a member of the server.
  4. You completed the Discord authorization screen.
  5. You returned to NeonSportz and selected Check Again.
  6. The service is not already connected to another server.

If server cards keep loading for more than 12 seconds, every skeleton is removed. Select Reconnect Discord to clear a stale Discord session, or Try Loading Servers Again if Discord may be temporarily unavailable. The purchase remains safe and unused.

Renew an existing service

Renewal is available for Madden Leagues only. Renew instead of creating a replacement when you want to keep the same URL, settings, members, and stored history.

  1. Purchase the renewal product that matches the existing league.
  2. Sign in with the league owner’s Discord account.
  3. Open Connect Your League.
  4. Locate the Discord server connected to the league.
  5. Choose Renew Existing League, select the intended league from the list, and follow the confirmation flow. If you own multiple leagues in that Discord server, each one appears as a separate choice and requires its own unused activation link.
  6. Reopen the existing league and verify its expiration information.

Renewal does not refresh imported Madden data. Run the appropriate import after renewal.

CFB Dynasties do not support renewal. Purchase a new CFB Dynasty product and connect it as a new service.

The renewal notice checks before it sells

The renewal notice on the league page looks for an unused renewal on your account before offering the shop:

  • While it is still checking, the button reads Checking your purchases… and cannot be pressed. It never offers checkout before it knows the answer.
  • If a renewal is found, the button reads Activate Your Purchase and applies it directly. No second purchase, no trip to the shop.
  • If none is found, choosing Renew League re-checks, then asks whether you have already paid before sending you to checkout. Choose I already paid to go to neonsportz.com/activate and look the purchase up.

A renewal you bought while signed in is found even if you paid with a different email address than the one on your NeonSportz account — checkout records who started it. That also means the shop link on the league page carries your account with it, so buy from the league page rather than browsing to the shop separately.

If you did pay with a different email and cannot find the purchase, neonsportz.com/activate also looks it up by that email directly.

Transfer to another Discord server

Transfer changes the Discord server associated with the existing NeonSportz service.

Before transferring:

  • The acting user must be authorized for the NeonSportz service.
  • The destination server must be visible to that Discord account.
  • The NeonSportz bot must be installed in the destination server.
  • You should record the current notification channel configuration because channel IDs from the old server cannot be used in the new one.

After transfer:

  1. Reopen Administration → Discord.
  2. Re-select every notification channel and role.
  3. Run each available test.
  4. Recheck member assignments and slash-command access.
  5. Recreate weekly game channels or threads only if needed.

Permanent service policies

NeonSportz does not delete leagues or dynasties. Keeping the service preserves its history in case you return later.

To move a service out of its current Discord server, use Transfer Discord Server in Administration. Paid-service ownership cannot be changed, and support does not make deletion or ownership-transfer exceptions. An account that owns a paid service cannot be deleted.

Recruitment boosts

Every Buy Boosts button on the site (nav bar, recruitment listings, the Redeem Boosts page) signs you in and carries your account straight to checkout. There is nothing to type — the purchase is credited to your account automatically as soon as the order comes through.

Buy directly on the Shopify store

If you buy the Recruitment Boost product directly from shop.neonsportz.com instead, NeonSportz cannot tell who you are from checkout alone. Look for a claim your purchase email shortly after your order:

  1. Open the email and select the claim link. Check spam or junk if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
  2. Sign in with the Discord account you want the boosts credited to.
  3. The boosts are added to that account immediately.

If the claim email never arrives, sign in at neonsportz.com/activate instead — it finds unclaimed boosts by your account email the same way it finds league and dynasty purchases.

If a Discord username field is still shown at checkout, you can leave it blank — purchases are matched and claimed by Discord login, not by typing a username.

Redeem a boost

Purchased boosts are attached to your NeonSportz account until redeemed.

  1. Sign in with the purchasing Discord account.
  2. Open Redeem Boosts.
  3. Choose an eligible Madden recruitment post or CFB recruitment post.
  4. Confirm redemption.
  5. Verify that the listing shows boosted status.

A boost is consumed when redeemed. Confirm the target abbreviation before submitting.

Activation safety

  • Do not publish an activation URL or token.
  • Do not share Discord or EA credentials with another commissioner.
  • Do not delete your NeonSportz account while it owns a paid service.
  • If checkout succeeded but activation did not, use the recovery action on the screen — or neonsportz.com/activate — before purchasing again.
  • Pending purchases are listed with their Shopify order number and purchase date, so you can match one against a charge on your card statement before deciding whether to buy again.
  • A refunded order stops working. If a purchase was refunded or charged back, its activation link reports that it can no longer be activated.
