Import Center, Cooldowns & Queue

Run safe imports, monitor all-stats jobs, and recover from partial data.

Import Center

Open Administration → Import Center for the normal Madden import workflow. It replaces the separate Import Status and Import Queue screens.

The main button says Import My League the first time and Update My League after that. Select it once. NeonSportz performs the normal steps in order.

What the main import does

  1. Imports league information and standings.
  2. Imports every team roster and free agents.
  3. Imports schedules.
  4. Imports statistics for every supported week.
  5. Verifies completion.

You do not need to select each step manually.

Progress states

The Import Center keeps its progress on the server. Closing or reloading the page does not restart the import.

You may see:

  • Waiting in line — position #3. The request is queued and safe.
  • Importing rosters — 18 of 33 complete. Leave the page open or return later.
  • Preparing schedules and statistics. The stats stage is being set up. It changes to a week count once the import begins.
  • Importing stats — Week 4 of 22. The all-weeks job is running.
  • Import complete. The update finished.
  • Import stopped while importing rosters. Use the displayed retry action once.

The progress bar covers the whole import rather than the current stage, so it moves forward once per stage and does not restart. Alongside it, Import Center estimates the time remaining, and for a league waiting in the queue, how long until its turn. The estimate comes from how quickly recent imports finished, so it moves as the queue does and is an approximation rather than a deadline.

The main action is disabled when another action is unavailable. Cooldowns and queue positions come from the server, so repeated clicks do not make an import faster.

An import that stops responding is picked up again automatically, and rejoins the queue at the back. An import that stopped between the roster stage and the statistics stage is also picked back up, within about an hour, without any action from you. It keeps the weeks it already imported, and the leagues waiting ahead of it are not held up while it retries.

Check from Discord

League administrators can use /import status to see the same durable state and /import update to start or resume the guided workflow.

The individual stage commands import as well: /import league-info, /import rosters and /import stats. Each runs its own stage and then reports the league’s import state, including the stage reached, how far through it is, the queue position when statistics are waiting, and the estimated time remaining.

All import commands require Discord Administrator permission in the server.

Fix one part of an import

Expand Fix One Part of the Import only when the normal import completed but a specific part is missing.

  • League Information repairs teams and standings.
  • Rosters repairs players and free agents.
  • All Statistics repairs schedules and statistics across multiple weeks.

For one missing week, use the specific-week action instead of importing every week again.

A single-part repair finishes on its own and does not continue into the other stages. When it completes, Import Center returns to the ready state rather than reporting that another stage is starting. Use the main import action when you want the full league information, rosters and statistics sequence.

Missing games for one week

When a week has no imported games, a league administrator sees Import Week [number]. A regular member sees that a league administrator must import the week.

After the import reports success, reopen the schedule or game page to verify the games appear.

Import method

EA Connect is the currently available Madden import method. The Madden Companion App has not been released yet, so it cannot be selected or used. Leagues that previously used Companion imports are directed to connect EA before importing.

Do not reconnect merely to bypass a cooldown.

Import completion webhooks

Open Administration → Automation → Import Webhook to notify an external dashboard after League Information, Rosters, or All Statistics completes.

Webhook destinations must be public HTTP or HTTPS addresses. NeonSportz rejects local, private-network, link-local, and redirecting destinations. See Import Automation and Webhooks for payloads and security requirements.

If an import stops

  1. Read the stopped stage shown by Import Center.
  2. Select its retry action once.
  3. Wait for the status to change.
  4. Verify the affected league page.

If the same known failure remains after the retry, follow the Discord support instructions on the screen. Do not reset league statistics while an import is active.

If EA is refusing requests

When EA stops accepting export requests, Import Center says so and stops the import at that point rather than attempting the remaining weeks, which could only fail the same way. Weeks already imported are kept.

New imports are also held back briefly while EA is refusing requests, so a league waiting in the queue is not started only to fail. Nothing is required from you: start the import again once EA is serving requests, and it continues from the weeks that are still missing.
