Import Status, Cooldowns & Queue

Run safe imports, monitor all-stats jobs, and recover from partial data.

Import Status page

Open Administration → Import Status to see import controls and current state. The page can show:

  • Whether an EA account is connected.
  • The Companion App Export URL.
  • League Info, Roster, Schedule, and All Stats actions.
  • Refresh controls and status/error information.
  • Cooldown state for imports.

Run a single import safely

  1. Confirm the league abbreviation in the URL.
  2. Confirm Madden season, stage, and week.
  3. Choose the smallest import that owns the missing data.
  4. Select the import button once.
  5. Wait for confirmation.
  6. Select Refresh to update status.
  7. Open the affected public page and verify the result.

Repeatedly clicking an import does not make it complete faster.

All Stats queue

All Stats is serialized through a queue because it is expensive and can involve many stat categories and weeks.

  1. Open Administration → Import Status or Import Queue.
  2. Select Queue Import All Stats.
  3. Confirm the request if prompted.
  4. Watch the queue position or current job.
  5. Leave the page if necessary; the import continues.
  6. Return later and select Refresh.
  7. Verify several completed games and aggregate stat pages.

Only one queued job can be actively processed in the relevant concurrency flow. A queue position is not a failure.

Import completion webhooks

Open Administration → Automation → Import Webhook to notify an external dashboard or bot after League Info, Rosters, or All Stats completes.

  1. Enter the public HTTP or HTTPS endpoint that should receive the event.
  2. Choose the import stage that triggers automatic delivery.
  3. Enable Send automatically and save.
  4. Use Send Latest Import to test the most recently completed stage.

Webhook destinations must resolve only to public internet addresses. Local, private-network, link-local, and redirecting endpoints are rejected. NeonSportz does not send an authentication secret, so use a dedicated endpoint and verify the X-NeonSportz-Delivery identifier when deduplicating events.

See Import Automation and Webhooks for trigger timing, the JSON payload, receiver requirements, retry behavior, security rules, delivery statuses, and troubleshooting.

Cooldowns

A cooldown prevents accidental repeated imports. When a button displays remaining seconds:

  • Wait for the countdown.
  • Do not switch import methods to bypass it.
  • Use the time to verify whether the previous request already succeeded.

Import a specific week

Supported direct-import behavior can request a specific week. Choose the week that corresponds to Madden’s stored week index, and verify the season and stage first. Week labels can differ between preseason, regular season, playoffs, and offseason.

Reset Export Information

Reset Export Information clears stored tracking used to compare exports. It is not the first fix for stale data.

Use it only when:

  • Support or a verified recovery workflow requires a new baseline.
  • Import tracking is inconsistent after a franchise change.
  • You understand that subsequent data may be treated as initial baseline data.

After reset, run League Info first and rebuild in the normal import order.

Queue appears stuck

  1. Select Refresh.
  2. Confirm whether the job is waiting, running, successful, or failed.
  3. Wait several minutes for a full historical import.
  4. Check whether public stats are changing before submitting again.
  5. Record the queue status and time.
  6. Contact support if the same job remains unchanged for an unreasonable period.

Do not reset league statistics while an import job is active.

Partial import or inconsistent totals

  • Verify selected filters on the public stat page.
  • Check several individual game pages.
  • Identify whether player stats, team stats, or both are missing.
  • Re-import the smallest affected week.
  • Use All Stats only if multiple weeks or categories are incomplete.

Scheduled games can contain placeholder team-stat rows. NeonSportz calculations treat a game as played only when its status is greater than the scheduled state.
